In response to parent requests, we have researched and chosen a new “user friendly” Student Information System (SIS) – RENWEB. RenWeb will replace our current program, Senior Systems/My Backpack, for the next school year. As you can imagine, this will be a transition that takes several months. Benefits to our parents will include:
• intuitive navigation between student academic and administrative portals
• easier access to student information on a mobile platform
• more efficient and effective communication between parents, students and teachers
Continue to Use My Backpack.
My Backpack usage will remain the same through the end of the year. You will continue to use My Backpack, as usual, for checking grades, homework and lunch accounts. You will be notified through email when to switch to RenWeb-ParentsWeb.
We have started the transition.
As we move through this process, let me say upfront – we appreciate your patience and responsiveness. Steps in this transition will require action on your part. As we get to these steps, you will be notified to complete them in a timely manner in order for the process to continue smoothly and on schedule for our completion deadline next school year. The first parent step begins today by creating a ParentsWeb account. Please take a few minutes now to complete the following steps below (PARENT ACTION REQUIRED). This will take less than five minutes of your time, but help us tremendously.

PARENT ACTION REQUIRED:
The first steps requiring parent action are:
• Creating a ParentsWeb and
• FACTS Management Account
ALL parents will be required to have a ParentsWeb account and FACTS Management Account in 2017-2018 and should complete the steps below.
1. Create ParentsWeb Account
The parent access portal to RenWeb is called: ParentsWeb. This term will be used to refer to the link/portal that you as a parent will access RenWeb. YOU MUST USE A NON-MOBILE DEVICE TO SET UP YOUR PARENTSWEB ACCOUNT! After account creation, you WILL be able to log in using your mobile device.
• Create an account – user name and password
• Click on the link below.
• Select the Parent button.
• Click on “Create New ParentsWeb Account”
(The District Code should appear when you click on the link below. If not, the District Code is: CML-NC)
You will be asked to provide an email address. Please use the email address that you used when creating your admission account online. The new system will match your email to grant access to your ParentsWeb account. If your email address does not match, you will be denied access to create an account.
You will receive an email with instructions and a link to set up a user name and password for your new ParentsWeb account.
Once these are successfully accepted. Use the user name and password to login to your ParentsWeb account (click here).
2. FACTS Payment Management:
Current FACTS account users:
Once you login to your new ParentsWeb account, you will see a FACTS link on the left sidebar, if you currently have a FACTS account. This is where you will check your FACTS financial information starting now and moving forward. There is no longer a separate FACTS login page as we have had in the past. This is the only information that will be available immediately with RenWeb-ParentsWeb.
NEW FACTS Accounts:
If you do NOT currently have a FACTS account, you will need to create an account to be used in the 2017-2018 school year. Click on the FACTS link in the left sidebar. Click on the button to create a payment account (bottom right), even if you pay tuition in full.
