Being able to possess the ability to express oneself through music is an awesome privilege to give back to our Creator in glorifying His name. The flute instructor will nurture students and promote a strong sense of self-worth, discipline, and responsibility while teaching the foundations of flute instruction. One of the goals of our flute instructor is to create the first flute choir at CCS.
Instructor: Julie Owens
Strings lessons (violin, viola, cello, bass) are tailored to the students’ speed and ability. Learning to play a string instrument is both challenging and rewarding. Lessons are designed to ensure long-term success while maintaining student interest and enthusiasm. The development of proper technique is emphasized at every level
as this is the cornerstone from which musical expression flourishes. As students progress from beginning to more advanced levels, more variety in terms of musical selections is introduced.
