High School Math Teacher (full time):
Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree in math is required and a master’s degree in education or math is preferred. A valid state teaching credential, ACSI certification and a minimum of two years teaching experience is required.

High School Science Teacher (full time):
Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree in biology or related science (excluding science education) is required and a master’s degree in biology or education is preferred. A valid state teaching credential, ACSI certification and a minimum of two years teaching experience is required. Prior experience as a science department head is also desired.

High School Spanish Teacher (full time):
Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree is preferred. Understanding of how to use best practices to engage and motivate students to develop basic skills of Spanish fluency, and has comprehensive training in both Spanish and secondary education. A valid state teaching credential, ACSI certification and a minimum of two years teaching experience is required.

Associate Head of Advancement (full time)
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field of study. Applicant should have 5-7 years’ experience overseeing an admission or development office. Experience should also include marketing, communications and strategic planning skills (preferred); effective leadership skills; the ability to articulate the school vision both to the CCS family and the surrounding community and strong written and oral communication skills.
Description: The Associate Head of Advancement is responsible for developing relationships within the CCS family and the community at large in order to sustain a growing annual and capital giving structure in support of Carmel Christian School’s mission statement. The AHA will enhance the efforts of the Development Office by focusing on donor development, foundation and corporate partnership and alternative funding sources. The AHA will oversee and manage the Advancement Office budget, finances and personnel, including Development, Admission, Communications and Parent/Student Relations. (posted: May 4, 2017)
Director of Fine Arts (full time):
Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree in music or drama, a minimum of three years’ experience in planning and leading a fine arts ministry including productions, plays and special events, a strong biblical foundation, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of basic computer skills and music software is necessary. ACSI certification.
Description: The Director of Fine Arts will develop a comprehensive Fine Arts program, K-12, including classes in Drama, Stage Production, Set Design and Visual Arts. College and Career Counselor (full time):
Education/Experience: A master’s degree is required in one of the related field: Counseling, School Counseling, Education. The successful candidate will possess excellent public speaking, interviewing, advising, written correspondence and publication development skills. Experience with Naviance and Renweb solutions is desired.
Description: The College & Career Counselor assists with the daily operations of guidance including programs to assist and educate students and parents about the college application process. Coordinator of Chapel and Missions (full time):
Education/Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Educational Leadership and Administration or Christian Leadership, and a minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably in a ministry or Christian school setting. Experience in a private school setting is preferred.

Carmel Baptist Church – Part-time Cook
Carmel Baptist Church is looking for someone to work on the kitchen staff primarily on Wednesdays but with potential for other days and special events as a part-time cook in our kitchen. Must be able to prepare a variety of foods using all types of kitchen equipment. Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred. Must be able to understand and comply with kitchen standards, policies and procedures. Student Center for Achievement:
Part-time Certified Teacher (2 positions)
Requirements for Position 1: Candidates should hold a Bachelors degree in Education (minimum), and be currently certified in a specialty area in Exceptional Children in the State of North Carolina, or demonstrate a desire to work towards such certification. Additional expertise that would assist our current team include: expertise in teaching elementary reading and writing.
Requirements for Position 2: Candidates should hold a Bachelors degree in Education (minimum), and be currently certified in a specialty area in Exceptional Children in the State of North Carolina, or demonstrate a desire to work towards such certification. Additional expertise that would assist our current team include: experience in teaching high school math and science.
