Our Carmel parents have a prayer ministry where they gather to pray for our students, one another, and our school. We call our time together “Cornerstone.” The idea is that all the works of God start with God Himself. The prayers of God’s people should originate and be focused on and toward The Cornerstone, Jesus Christ, who is the Chief Architect and Builder of our faith and the church (see Eph. 2:20; 1 Peter 2:6; Heb.3:4, 11:10).
Cornerstone meets in the Carmel Room on the
2nd Friday of each month starting at 8:15 am.
Each month we have different parents lead and have a monthly focus for our prayer time. Our time will be spent praying together as a group and there is no expectation for participants to pray aloud. We want all to feel welcome to pray and share prayer requests.
We desire for our Carmel family to walk in prayer daily. If you have a specific need that you would like to be prayed over you can share your request by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and filling out the form linked in the response. Our goal is for us to be unified in seeking our Lord and Savior and calling on Him. Our hope is that God works through us and we foster a heart for prayer throughout our campus.
Prayer Parents by Grade Level
The Cornerstone Parent Prayer Ministry, which meets monthly for all parents, would like every student to be covered in prayer. If you feel led to take on this vital and blessed role as a Prayer Parent, please let us know by clicking on the link below. Keep in mind that you don’t need to be experienced or articulate, just willing. The Cornerstone Prayer Team is excited to launch this unique endeavor of sharing the blessing and burden of prayer with you. We need parents for each grade and you may volunteer any time during the year.
