NEW Carline PROCEDURE – Effective, September 5
Thank you for your patience as we have worked through this year’s morning drop off procedures. We have determined that one change to this procedure will make a big difference. Beginning Wednesday, September 5, families of elementary-aged students who drop off multiple students at the Gym entrance may have their older sibling walk the younger sibling to the Café area just outside the Student Discipleship Center Auditorium. Once our Elementary students have assembled there, a teacher will gather and walk them to their appropriate destination. The older sibling may then proceed to do what is required before the start of the school day. We will have two staff members in this area beginning at 7:40 am each morning to assist in the process. It is our hope that this new process will alleviate some of the concerns that have been voiced regarding timing, siblings having to walk each other across campus, logistics, etc.
As a reminder, families should be aware that these siblings will be allowed to enter the Gym entrance beginning at 7:40 am each morning. Please ask your students to walk to the top of the stairs, identify their need to walk their younger sibling to the Café space, and they will be allowed to enter the building. Please remind your students to walk directly to the Café space during this time.
