Middle school is a time of transition for students, as they have one foot in elementary school and one foot in high school. They are truly “in the middle” in many ways—they want independence, but they want to know their parents are there to help them.
At Carmel Christian School, middle school provides a secure, loving environment for students to explore their independence. Teachers integrate a biblical world view into an academically challenging classroom environment in order to demonstrate how God’s word is the foundation for every aspect of their lives.
We have the privilege at Carmel Christian School to use Biblical principles and prayer in guiding students through this time of transition along side their parents. In addition to excelling in the challenging academic environment, they learn how to maintain friendships and how to handle conflicts with Jesus Christ at the center of their lives. It is truly a blessing to work with these young people as they learn about God’s path for them during their middle school years.
We look forward to having your child in middle school and are thankful for the privilege to partner with you!

Missions are part of our lifestyle. Middle School students have an opportunity to participate in local and international missions. Eighth grade students travel to Baltimore, MD and participate in a shoe distribution with Samaritan’s Feet Ministries. 7th grade visits SIM to learn what it’s like to be a missionary. 6th grade visits assisted living facilities in the fall.
