Before School Care is designed for students in CCS and WEE school students enrolled in a 4’s or TK class. Students have the opportunity to play games, draw, read and quietly socialize before going to their classes. Extended Day complements, rather than duplicates, the school day by giving students the opportunity to explore and build on the their individual interests and skills. Afternoon activities include, outdoor games, arts & crafts, indoor games, and a designated homework room. There is a separate space for Middle School students to be able to work on computers, complete their homework, or hang out with friends.
Enrichment Classes are open to ALL CCS students and WEE school children (4’s & TK). Students may participate in the Enrichment Program without being registered in the Extended Day program. A wide variety of classes is offered during the school year that go beyond the scope of the classroom experience. Classes are taught by specialized instructors who are trained in their fields. Music Enrichment lessons are offered throughout the school year as well. Music students are encouraged to use their talents and gifts in music to glorify God. Families register separately for the Enrichment Program. This registration is online only. Notification of registration dates and deadlines is communicated through eNews and Program newsletter. The primary goal of the Timothy Project is to train and encourage High School students to spend time with younger students in a way that models a life that follows Christ. The Extended Day Program gives students a place to serve children in a familiar environment and encourage these students to move beyond the walls of CCS and into the community to impact the world around them for Christ. The Extended Day & Enrichment Program have local and international ministry partners. Local ministries, like One7, allow students to participate on a regular basis. Freedom Christian School in the Dominican Republic is our international partner. They offer students hands-on ministry opportunities through summer internship programs and short-term mission trips.
