Dear High School Parents,
Please take a moment to carefully review this information and the instructions on the top of the form. This selection process is based on Seniority. Administration reserves the right not to grant a selection based on a student’s standing with the school. The selection is not based on first come, first served.
Take the next few days to pray over this decision with your student. While there are many considerations in making this decision, God knows exactly where your student needs to be during this time and will prepare the way for this to be an impactful time.
Please make sure that you and your student give four different selections with the top choice first. Listing your favorite selection multiple times will actually delay your selection and adversely affect the results.
Some of you noted that Drivers Education is not offered. This was offered in the past, but does not fit with our philosophy for J-Term at Carmel Christian School. In addition, Jordan Driving school struggled with the logistics of providing enough instructors for the driving portion of the class.
Dates to be aware of:
May 3 – All J-Term trip information was sent out to parents and students
May 9 – Form sent out to parents only to begin making selections.
May 13 – All selection forms due at noon
May 17 – Confirmation email will be sent out with instructions to register and pay the deposit
May 28 – Deadline to register and pay deposit (nonrefundable, nontransferable) (Incomplete submissions will forfeit their spot and be placed in Charlotte Serve.)
Over the summer, trip information will be updated as arrangements are being made and will be accessible online. The first half of the payment for the trip will be due September 23.
