Free time was enjoyed by all and included fishing, swimming, volleyball, hanging out with friends, ping pong, the SWING and more! Worshiping together began after dinner with the Windy Gap Band and David Miller, our guest pastor. He spoke about the parable of the sower. Click on Parent Prayer Guide link above to follow the daily teachings and pray for our students while they are away. We know that God is up to amazing things in the hearts of our students!

Middle School Windy Gap – It’s a wrap!
Monday, August 27
Students arrived and the pace never slowed down! Lunch, launch party, games and free time. We had short rain showers between 2-5 pm but free time activities were still enjoyed by all. Worship tonight focused on “The Parable of the Sower.” David Miller, Windy Gap teacher, challenged students to determine what type of soil is in their heart tonight. Students were able to reflect on his teaching in their crew devotionals immediately following. (See parent parent guide above for more details.) Students capped off their night with water challenges at the pool and then the Sippin’ Shoppe before lights out.

“Today (Tuesday) was a beautiful day at Windy Gap and the rain stayed away! We began our day with worshipping together. The message from God’s word came from the parable of the prodigal son. We examined the life and decision making of this son. We walked away with the truth that no matter where we are we can turn to him and he is longing for us to return to a right relationship with him.
Departure from Windy Gap:
